The Minnesota Chapter of the ALS Association was incorporated in 1993 after patients, families, and related professionals banded together to share in their struggles against this tragic disease and to combat it through providing patient services and community education and support of national research. It is classified as a 501(c) 3 charitable organization by the IRS.
